ABOUT US
Central history
The Centrál Kávéház opened in 1887 in the house of Lajos Erényi Ullmann. The architectural plans were prepared by Zsigmond Quittner. The coffee house itself was on the ground floor of
the house and consisted of eight rooms, two games rooms, a coffee kitchen and a cloakroom. The ceiling and walls were decorated by Róbert Scholtz.
